How we work

We strive to make hiring foreign employees understandable and predictable for you. We set up and conduct the entire process, from obtaining LMIA to recruiting employees and getting your employee to work. You control the process, and your HR department receives a personalized experience of hiring foreigners and further working with foreign employees.

The main steps:

  1. Together with you, we carefully analyze which employees your company needs and what will be the best way for you to hire them. For instance, your type of business may be on an LMIA exempt list or you already have foreign workers, and the best way for you is to extend your workers’ permits instead of hiring new individuals.
  2. We launch the process of obtaining LMIA if the first step shows you need LMIA. It will work parallel with other project steps, so you will not lose extra time getting LMIA.
  3. We perform a quality check of candidates selected/approved by your HR department for the possibility of obtaining a work permit or extending the stay of your foreign workers in Canada.
  4. We train your HR to correctly select foreign employees from open sources based on professional competencies and other qualities that will help a candidate obtain or extend a work visa in Canada.*If your HR is overloaded and cannot be engaged in the selection of candidates, we take this job on ourselves.
  5. We coordinate with you the final list of candidates who meet all the criteria for obtaining or extending a visa and employment in your company
  6. We assists in preparing a WP application and obtaining the work permit for your employees
  7. We provide clear instructions on how your HR department can continue to work with foreign employees at the end of temporary visas.

As an additional service, we accompany your HR department within 3 months after hiring on all issues related to the hired employees within our partnership.

What if your business case is unique and standard solutions do not suit you

Each process contains its own «if». We are ready to adapt to the specifics of your business and offer solutions.

  • If foreign employees on temporary visas already work in your company, we conduct a detailed assessment and develop individual strategies for extending the visas of employees whose employment you need to extend
  • If you employ temporary staff through outsorcing company, you can transfer these employees to your permanent staff. We will prepare the documents for workers’ employment in your company. You will get much more transparency and control over your employees because they will work only for you, not outsourcing. Also, you will be able to build transparent motivation systems for employees to increase their productivity and your business results.
  • If you already have a contractor for hiring foreign employees but want to attract a new company to this project, then we are ready to:— go into the current process to collaborate work with another contractor— successfully complete the process of employing new foreign workers started by another contractor— take over and continue the previously started process of employing foreign workers

Moreover, for your immediate or urgent hiring needs, we are partnered with a Staffing Agency that will be able to provide a reliable employee for all positions that you need.

Obtaining a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) can indeed pose challenges and raise questions for Canadian employers. An LMIA is a document issued by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) that allows Canadian businesses to hire foreign workers for temporary employment when there are no qualified Canadian citizens or permanent residents available for the job.
